Makeup brushes are something that needs to suit your face. No matter how much you have paid for it, if the brush is not compatible with your skin and face, it would not be a good match. So finding the ideal one for you is a hard nut to crack. Once you have found the one, you need to take excellent care of it. Otherwise, the may get wrecked and to find a new ‘ideal’ set can be difficult. One of the best ways to keep the brushes at an optimum level is to clean them frequently after you. Because, if you clean them regularly, then they may last for a very long time.

Daily cleaning is necessary for those who are the professional makeup artists. If you go out frequently and like to wear makeup when you do so, your brush set may also require frequent cleaning. This prevents the product build-up of the brushes and will provide you with a clean and healthy application of cosmetics. For an excellent cleaning, you can follow these simple steps:

1. The first thing that you need is a makeup brush cleaner. You need to spray both sides of the brush with it. There are various kinds of cleaner, the ones that use alcohol is the best. If you use these, your brush set will be usable without much delay.

2. After spraying, take a paper towel. With it, wipe the brush very gently. To do this, you can also wrap the towel around the brush, then pull the brush through the towel while applying pressure with one hand. Repeat the process as many times as you see fit by changing the towel after a complete cleaning. You should stop only when the towel is clean, and there is no sign of makeup on it.

3. You should do this before every time you apply the makeup and after completion. Granted, this would take a few extra minutes away from you, but the result would be worth it.

You should do a deep cleaning of your brushes once every month at least. Here is the best process to do so:

A. Wet the brush hair.

B. Take a small amount of mild shampoo in your hand.

C. Mix the hair of the brush with this shampoo by slowly swirling it. Then rinse the shampoo off from your palm and keep cleaning the hair.

D. Repeat the process as many times as you want or need.

E. Finally, you need to rinse the brush to remove the last bit of shampoo residue. Remember to rinse the hair, not the whole brush.
